Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking an Information Systems Security Developer (Information Systems Security Engineer) to work in Warren, MI.
The Information Systems Security Developer (Information Systems Security Engineer) will support the development, integration, and assessment of secure system architectures for combat ground platforms. This role provides technical expertise in security requirements, cyber threat and vulnerability assessments, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), system testing, risk mitigation, and authorization activities, including IATT and ATO.
A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
Recommend security design requirements and develop security architectures for combat ground platforms, systems, and subsystems.
Plan, Coordinate, and integrate systems engineering security activities throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
Develop cyber threat assessments and evaluate security architecture artifacts.
Review cybersecurity requirements, security controls, vulnerability scans, network infrastructure, hardware/software assurance, anti-tamper, and system architecture.
Identify cybersecurity deficiencies and recommend appropriate mitigation solutions.
Support Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and NCDSMO Raise the Bar (RTB) initiatives.
Support cybersecurity testing, system certifications, program protection, and supply chain risk management activities.
Provide input for requirements analysis, engineering trade-off studies, risk assessments, and cost-effective security design decisions.
Coordinate with engineering teams, program stakeholders, and the Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
Support authorization activities required to obtain an Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO).
