CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software for Payload Control System Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate software solutions Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure optimal system performance Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices Must Have Qualifications: Proficiency in C++ programming. Specifically the standard template library (STL), smart pointers, and inheritance Experience with networking protocols, AMQP, and socket programming such as TCP and UDP Experience with software development and source control best practices (Git) Nice to Have Qualifications: Experience with Agile development methodologies Software development experience in a Linux environment Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker Experience with the QT Framework Understanding of BYG-1 and knowledge of submarine systems and operations Experience with Jira and Confluence Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.
