Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires one year of experience, or a Master's degree. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Working successfully within a team, the Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas: Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing What you’ll experience: Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered What you bring to the table: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience Clear understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories Clear understanding of object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages What sets you apart: Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity Commitment to ongoing professional development Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation Workplace options: This position is fully on-site in our Charleroi facilities with the option to 'flex schedule' in the future...we are not offering a relocation package at this time. Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
