Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner (PO) Job Locations US-AL-Huntsville ID 2026-5210 Type Full-Time Clearance Secret Preferred Overview i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner (PO) who will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the network application development and updates/patches for the Network Application Team (NAT). Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. Support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and be responsible for their verification. Responsible for working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network. Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint. Provide technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership. Report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission. Qualifications Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset Be a U.S. citizen Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics. Must have a good understanding of networking to include IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, networking device configuration, and network status monitoring. Have a broad understanding of SNMPv3. Must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives. Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above. Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher. Other Qualifications: An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS. The ability to "move out" and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important. Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus Security+ certification and Linux experience is also desired. Agilist certification preferred. Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of office administration and procedures. Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully. Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results.
