Senior Software Engineer – Subject Matter Expert, Application Development

Cyber Security Innovations (CSI) is looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team on an upcoming program, pending contract award. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals responsible for Cyber Security, Compliance, and Quality Assurance. Responsibilities Include: Responsible for day-to-day operations of the project team. Develop comprehensive project plans for cybersecurity initiatives, encompassing tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations. Communicate project updates, progress, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication for project delivery. Oversee and provide guidance for the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Maintain the efficiency of important aspects of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment. Facilitate effective communication between cybersecurity, IT, and other relevant teams to achieve project objectives. Proactively identify cybersecurity risks and potential challenges associated with projects and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Required Skills and Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen able to obtain an agency-specific suitability / Public Trust clearance. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of relevant experience in cyber security Project Management, with prior experience supporting federal clients. PMP certification is required. Domain and expert technical knowledge in cybersecurity compliance, including Risk Management Framework. Demonstrated knowledge of security tools, security architecture, NIST security standards and compliance measurements, and quality assurance testing. Experience in the application of FISMA guidelines including the NIST special publications 800-18, 800-30, 800-37, 800-39, 800-53, 800-53A, 800-60, and 800-137. Desired Skills and Qualifications: CISSP, CISM, or other equivalent industry certification desired.
