Description
The Test Engineering Lead is a hands-on semiconductor test
engineering leadership role responsible for developing and supporting RF and DC
production test solutions while leading a team of approximately 3-5 engineers.
This role supports industry-leading semiconductor products spanning
communications, data center infrastructure, microwave, and millimeter-wave
applications operating at frequencies up to 100 GHz and beyond.<br>The ideal candidate is a strong engineer and practical technical
leader who can drive test development from concept through production release,
solve complex manufacturing test issues, and mentor engineers while improving
yield, quality, cost, and test efficiency.<br>Key Duties and Responsibilities<br>Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to a team of test engineers while maintaining accountability for technical execution, quality, and schedule commitments.<br>Develop and deploy RF and DC semiconductor test solutions including hardware architecture, instrumentation selection, software development, characterization, debug, documentation, and production release.<br>Design, develop, and optimize RF test solutions for products ranging from discrete devices and MMICs to advanced modules operating at frequencies up to 100 GHz and beyond.<br>Support manufacturing test operations by resolving production issues, improving measurement integrity, and strengthening high-volume test capability.<br>Analyze test data, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve yield, quality, and productivity.<br>Develop and improve test procedures, calibration methods, engineering workflows, and product interface solutions required to support high-volume manufacturing.<br>Collaborate with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and external test partners to address technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
