BT-372 – Cloud Solution Architect Skill Level- Subject Matter Expert Location- Chantilly **MUST HAVE A TS/SCI CLEARANCE TO APPLY. Those without an active security clearance will not be considered.** Required: Demonstrates experience independently designing and developing cloud based applications using current best practices and architectural guidelines. Demonstrates experience working in software engineering, applications development or web application development and deployment. Demonstrates experience with object oriented development in a modern language (Java, Go, C##). Demonstrates experience developing front ends in modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. Demonstrates experience developing in a Linux environment. Demonstrates experience developing in a commercial clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Demonstrates experience developing containerized applications using Kubernetes. Demonstrates experience working with orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm. Demonstrates experience with networking and Virtual Private Network (VPN) protocols like OpenVPN, Wireguard, and IPSec. Demonstrates experience managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices. Demonstrates experience installing and managing cloud based applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Demonstrates experience with Kubernetes and containerization. Demonstrates experience performing software and hardware upgrades, patches and reconfigs. Demonstrates experience managing the physical environment of server racks including cable management, documenting, labeling, and configuration of KVM switching for console and remote access. Demonstrates experience installing and upgrading computer components and software, managing virtual servers, and integrate automation processes. Demonstrates experience troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues. Demonstrates experience performing regular backup operations and implementing appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. Demonstrates experience monitoring the system daily and responding immediately to performance, security or usability concerns. Demonstrates experience reviewing application logs to sustain system integrity and security. Demonstrates experience with Linux administration (Centos/Ubuntu/Rocky). Demonstrates experience communicating issues and resolutions to all levels of an organization. Demonstrates experience responding and resolving help desk and JIRA requests. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience. Desired: Demonstrates experience with Java/Go. Demonstrates experience with Javascript. Demonstrates experience with React, Angular, or Vue. Demonstrates experience with development in AWS, Azure, or GCP (specifically experience with EC2, S3, EKS, EFS, Route53, Load Balancers or their equivalents). Demonstrates experience with Kubernetes. Demonstrates experience with automation – CI/CD (Gitlab). Demonstrates experience in system administration. System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields Demonstrates experience with Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies like OpenVPN, Wireguard, and IPSec. Demonstrates experience with virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent. Demonstrates experience with scripting (Bash, Python, Powershell) and automation tools.
