Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication—ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.Job SummarySeeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission and business applicationsThe successful candidate will work individually and as part of an Agile development team to design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and improve software components based on documented requirementsThis position has a strong front-end focus, with Angular and RxJS experience highly desired, while supporting integration with Java/Spring Boot-based services and modern enterprise platformsPrimary ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systemsSupport processing-intensive analytics, large-scale data applications, real-time systems, and mission/business information systemsAnalyze documented requirements and translate them into software designs and componentsDevelop responsive user interfaces using Angular and RxJSReview and test software components to ensure adherence to design and functional requirementsDocument test results and resolve software problem reportsDebug existing software and implement corrective actionsApply software development and design methodologies appropriate to the operating environmentProvide input to system and software design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS alternativesPerform requirements analysis and decomposition from system-level requirements to individual software componentsCollaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, testers, and other technical stakeholdersSupport integration of front-end applications with back-end services, APIs, databases, and enterprise messaging platformsParticipate in code reviews, CI/CD activities, and technical documentationRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphBachelor's degree in related technical fieldDemonstrated software engineering experience developing and maintaining complex applicationsExperience with Angular and RxJS for front-end/UI developmentExperience analyzing requirements and developing software solutions from documented specificationsExperience reviewing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software componentsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a technical teamExperience with software design, development, integration, and testing methodologiesFamiliarity with a solid subset of the following:Spring BootSpring MVCSpring DataSpring SecurityJavaJMSKafkaOracleElasticsearchDockerKubernetes / K8sMavenGradleGitLabCI/CD pipelinesDesired QualificationsDirect experience developing services using Spring Boot, rather than only general Java or Spring experienceExperience integrating Angular-based front ends with RESTful or Java/Spring Boot servicesExperience with containerized and Kubernetes-based application environmentsExperience with enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures using JMS or KafkaFamiliarity with relational and search-oriented data stores such as Oracle and ElasticsearchExperience working with COTS and GOTS products and evaluating software reuse opportunitiesExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
