Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication—ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.Job SummarySeeking a Microservices Developer to support modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and modern cloud-native technologiesThe successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, and deliver Java Spring Boot microservices leveraging AWS-native services, REST APIs, CI/CD practices, and containerized deployment technologiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS-native technologiesBuild RESTful services capable of filtering, selecting, and processing complex data objectsSupport modernization of legacy applications into scalable microservices-based architecturesImplement CI/CD principles and automated delivery workflows using Maven, GitLab, GitOps, and related toolingDevelop, integrate, test, and deploy software in an Agile development environmentSupport containerized application deployment using Docker and KubernetesDevelop and maintain interfaces with NoSQL databases such as MongoDBParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and release activitiesCollaborate closely with software developers, systems engineers, testers, product owners, and other stakeholdersTroubleshoot application and integration issues across development and production environmentsParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting operational systemsRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined educationAt least six (6) years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus four (4) years of relevant experienceExperience developing software in an Agile environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively within a team-oriented software development environmentAbility to support an on-call rotationDesired QualificationsCandidates should have experience with at least two of the following:Java, Spring Boot, or PythonMicroservices architecturesCI/CD technologies and practices, including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and DockerNoSQL databases, including MongoDB query development and schema designOAuth / OIDC implementationAutomated testing frameworks such as Playwright and CucumberExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
