Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication—ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.Job SummarySeeking an experienced AWS Software Engineer to support the modernization of mission-critical cybersecurity platforms defending national security systems against evolving cyber threatsThe ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance a complex software system comprised of distributed microservices, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch analytics platforms, event-driven workflows, and multiple data persistence technologiesThe ideal candidate will contribute to the design, deployment, automation, and sustainment of scalable cloud-native capabilities across AWS and hybrid environments leveraging Kubernetes, AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and modern DevSecOps practicesPrimary ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure and on-premises environments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologiesMonitor system performance, cloud utilization, scalability, and operational healthConfigure and manage Kubernetes clustersEngineer solutions for automating deployments and all associated software configurations to increase reliability of software applicationsParticipate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solutionsSupport proxy configuration to handle routing and management of user requestsEvaluate and revise solutions for data redundancy and backupEvaluate opportunities for process improvements and automation as well as end-to-end deployment pipelinesConfer with mission customers and team members to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfacesCollaborate in Agile scrum cyclesRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphMust have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum of Seven (7+) years’ experience as a Software EngineerProficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, PythonExperience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, SIEMExperience with TerraformExperience working as part of an Agile development teamDesired QualificationsStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skillsExperience supporting government managed services cloud environmentsAWS Certified Developer and/or AWS Certified Solutions ArchitectExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
