We are seeking a passionate Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our team in Karlsruhe (Germany) and develop high-performance software for advanced XRD data analysis.
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten
Maintain, enhance, and expand existing numerical libraries for the analysis of XRD measurements
Improve performance of numerical computations
Develop and further enhance software products
Design and implement new algorithms and methodologies
Define software interfaces between different software products
Maintain and extend automated test coverage
Qualifikationen
Master's degree or PhD in a scientific discipline (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field); knowledge of X-ray Diffraction (XRD) is a plus
Strong expertise in numerical methods and software development
Extensive experience modernizing and optimizing legacy code
Proven experience in scientific computing
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C++, Fortran, Python, C#, and Assembly language programming
Experience in software architecture design and development
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German proficiency is a plus.
