Mid-level Engineer who executes the design, development and delivery of automation solutions. Must be able to work <\/div> autonomously with minimal supervision from the Lead Engineer to complete project tasks of moderate scope and <\/div> complexity. Continues to support broad engineering activities but with a growing focus on developing expertise in <\/div> specialized areas. May provide guidance and assistance to entry-level Engineers. <\/div> <\/div> Responsibilities and Duties: <\/div> Execute the design, development, and technical support of automation solutions adhering to industry standards. <\/span><\/li> Execute the installation, commissioning, and qualification, and support of automation solutions. <\/span><\/li> Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to automation solutions. <\/span><\/li> Identify and address risks. <\/span><\/li> Work in a GXP environment where detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and system changes may be <\/span><\/li> required. <\/span><\/li> Develop and maintain project files, including but not limited to Bill of Materials (BOM), design specifications, <\/span><\/li> engineering drawings. <\/span><\/li> Create and interpret engineering drawings and specifications in order to build or program systems in accordance to <\/span><\/li> provided system's requirements.<\/span> <\/li> \u200b<\/span>Provide guidance to other engineers with best practices and standards in mind. <\/li><\/ul> <\/div><\/span> Requirements<\/h3> Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline. <\/span><\/li> Certifications in relevant automation platforms preferred. <\/span><\/li> Ability to travel domestically and internationally. <\/span><\/li><\/ul> <\/div> Required Skills <\/div> A strong understanding of engineering principles and tools in at least three of the following areas: <\/span><\/li> Mechanical design and build <\/span><\/li> Electrical design and build <\/span><\/li> Robotics design and programming <\/span><\/li> Control systems and programming <\/span><\/li> Data systems design and implementation <\/span><\/li> Machine Vision design and implementation <\/span><\/li> Machine assembly and installation <\/span><\/li> Software Development and integration <\/span><\/li> Validation process design and execution <\/span><\/li> Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively <\/span><\/li> Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills<\/span> <\/li> Strong ability to identify independently and solve moderately complex issues <\/li> Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment <\/li> Strong flexibility in responding to changing project requirements <\/li> Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks <\/li> Strong ability to maintain accuracy in work <\/li> Strong level of risk management and mitigation strategies <\/li> Strong ability to execute tasks independently <\/li><\/ul> <\/div><\/span> Benefits<\/h3> Why Join Catalyx?<\/b> <\/div> At Catalyx we understand that our people are our greatest asset.
