Senior Manager of Software Engineering - Noke Job Locations US-GA-Atlanta ID 2026-6543 Category Engineering Type Full-Time Overview We are seeking a technically strong and execution-focused Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the development of our smart access platform serving the self-storage industry. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving engineering execution across backend cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, and customer-facing web interfaces. You will oversee and scale a small but multidisciplinary team delivering secure, reliable, and seamless access experiences for facility operators and tenants. The ideal candidate has deep experience in building cloud-connected IoT systems and is fluent across software stacks including GoLang, React, AWS, C++ and native mobile development. Responsibilities Technical Leadership Drive the architecture and development of software solutions Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and security across all system components Drive best practices for code quality, system performance, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and reliability. Software Stack & Systems Integration Guide full-stack development efforts leveraging: GoLang for backend services and APIs, React/TypeScript for responsive web applications, React Native for mobile apps, AWS for scalable infrastructure Integrate with third-party systems such as storage facility management platforms, access control vendors, and identity providers (OAuth/SAML). Ensure all services follow robust security practices including TLS, encryption at rest, role-based access control, and secure device provisioning. Team Leadership & Delivery Manage a team of 5 to 10 developers/engineers. Ensure outcomes are delivered Cross-Functional Execution Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure solutions meet customer needs and real-world deployment constraints. Partner with vendors and external development firms as needed to deliver against roadmap goals. Qualifications 3 years in technical leadership roles. Proven success delivering and scaling secure, cloud-connected IoT systems. Strong programming skills in Go, with hands-on experience designing and deploying systems in AWS. Experience building responsive front-ends with React and native mobile apps (Swift/Kotlin). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and release management in production environments. Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
