Senior Automation Engineer Job Locations US-NM-Albuquerque ID 2026-4754 Category Information Technology Type Full Time Overview Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support a major national laboratory. As an Automation Engineer you will contribute to exciting projects that develop complex real-time ground systems. Responsibilities Collaborate with architects, system engineers, developers, technical leads, customers, and end users to analyze requirements Design, develop, and deliver innovative technology solutions to achieve software system quality Generate automated tests to verify system functionality Participate in testing to assess accuracy and performance of the systems Support formal test activities at multiple levels from components to the enterprise system Develop application software Qualifications BS/BA in a relevant STEM field, such as a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and Five (5) years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience United States Citizenship is required Active DOE Q Clearance on Start or DOD Top Secret equivalent, Reciprocity with ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance, ability to obtain a SCI clearance This position is On-site full time Required Skills: Design, develop, and deploy full-stack .NET (C#) applications for both web and desktop environments. Experience with SharePoint Online, Confluence, Power BI (and related apps), MS Lists Create, utilize, and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases effectively. Implement data visualization solutions using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Familiar with DevOps practices and tools, including Azure DevOps and RedGate SQL Toolbelt. Manage data within SharePoint and Confluence. Experience in Windows Operating System (OS), including file management, scripting, editing, and security. Experience with a variety of programming languages, software, or tools to develop regular or ad-hoc queries from large datasets. Familiar with network communication protocols, and other related protocols. Desired Skills: Experience with databases such as SQL Cloud technologies Experience with Agile software development practices Build and consume API services using Denodo.
