Lead Data Engineer

Datavail is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join its data consulting practice, serving clients across a range of industries and engagement types. In this role, you will architect and deliver modern data platforms, guide technical decision-making on client engagements, and provide leadership and mentorship to project teams. The position combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership: you will be accountable for solutions from initial design through delivery, ensuring they meet established standards for data quality, integrity, security, and maintainability. This is a client-facing consulting position. Strong candidates will be comfortable operating across multiple engagements, translating business objectives into technical designs, and representing Datavail as a trusted technical advisor.
