Senior Data & Automation Engineer

Build the Future of Data, Automation, and AI at Kish Bank Kish Bank is seeking a Senior Data & Automation Engineer to design and build modern, API-driven data pipelines and intelligent automation solutions that power our next generation of analytics and AI capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Python development, API integrations, workflow automation, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake). You’ll play a critical role in connecting systems, eliminating manual processes, and enabling scalable, data-driven decision making across the organization. What You’ll DoData Engineering & APIsDesign and build Python-based data pipelines and microservices Develop and maintain REST API integrations across core systems and third-party platforms Transition data workflows from file-based to API-first and event-driven architectures Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for production pipelines Automation & Workflow OrchestrationBuild end-to-end automated workflows using Python and tools like Microsoft Power Automate Automate business processes including data movement, document processing, and system updates Develop RPA-style solutions where APIs are not available Identify opportunities to replace manual work with scalable automation AI & Advanced CapabilitiesIntegrate AI-driven capabilities (document parsing, summarization, decision support) Support emerging agent-based and intelligent automation use cases Data Platform & Analytics EnablementDesign pipelines to load and transform data into Snowflake Support near real-time ingestion and scalable data architecture Contribute to data models and analytics-ready datasets Enable reporting through tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma Governance, Security & CollaborationEnsure secure integrations and alignment with enterprise controls Support data governance, lineage, and quality standards Partner with IT, Security, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions What You BringRequiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 4–6+ years of experience in: Python development Data engineering or integration engineering Strong experience with REST APIs (authentication, pagination, error handling) Experience building data pipelines and automation workflows Strong SQL skills and data modeling understanding Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred) Strong problem-solving and communication skills PreferredExperience in banking or financial services Exposure to iPaaS tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo) Familiarity with event-driven or real-time architectures Experience integrating AI/ML into workflows Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps) Experience with containerized or cloud-native environments Why Join Kish Bank?Competitive salary and performance-based growth Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Generous PTO + paid holidays + volunteer time off Tuition reimbursement & career development programs Employee discounts on banking and insurance products
